In a country, in a nation that is so impoverished, these people are practically eating dirt over there, and there's a $5 million dollar reward for Osama Bin Laden. You mean to tell me, you want me to believe, that somebody can't say, 'Hey, he's over there?' I don't believe it. Why? Because Haliburton is supplying all of the stuff for our military guys, and doing a bad job of that." (youtu.be)

  • Steve R. Susman. Undoctrination.com - I Can See NO-vember Coming. 14 August 2010. "We need to go back to a defensive force and move away from our current offensive force. What happened to legally declaring war? [¦] We shouldn't be rebuilding or occupying anyone. We don't need to go absolutely everywhere and we don't need to be based everywhere and helping out absolutely everyone and police every nation [¦] We're fighting a "concept'. That's what terrorism is. We've been in Afghanistan for nearly an entire decade and what do we have to show for it? You expect us to believe that we can't win a fight against such an impoverished insurgency? You say in that impoverished nation that there's a $5 million bounty on Osama Bin Laden's head and no one has given him up? Come on. As for the possibility on the horizon of "going to war" with Iran, those people who live here HATE their oppressive government. Why do we need to bother invading? [¦] We need to bring these folks home. We need to concentrate on getting our own house in order before we even think about getting involved anywhere else." (votesmart.org)
  • Steve R. Susman. Issue Position: Foreign Policy. 3 January 2010. "It is not the duty of the United States of America to police the globe. It is our duty to protect ourselves from enemies foreign and domestic. It is not our job to build or rebuild nations. The two illegal wars that we are participating in are taking a costly toll on our fine military and our economy." (votesmart.org)
  • Steve R. Susman. Steve Susman answers the Liberty Candidate questions:. 27 Feburary 2010. "I feel that we should not be involved in policing other nations and/or nation building. We need to stop meddling in the affairs of other governments. If they ask for help, we should oblige, without committing ourselves long term. We have people in great need of help in our own nation, we should not be wasting trillions of dollars in other nations. Our military should not sacrifice our security for the sake of some other leader's selfish interests. I have family in these theaters and this is a very sore point for me. It is time to bring our people home, sink or swim for the nations in question." (www.liberty-candidates.org)
  • Steve R. Susman. Steve Susman: Liberty Candidate for U.S. House, Texas. 16 October 2011. Responded: "The Constitution provides for a Navy, not a standing army" to the question: "Should the U.S. maintain its standing army?" (libertycandidates.com)

The Federal Reserve system aka "Central Bank" should be audited and abolished. Congress was given power to print and coin money in the Constitution, I suggest we return to that system."

  • Steve R. Susman. Steve Susman answers the Liberty Candidate questions:. 27 Feburary 2010. "The monetary policy in this country is a shambles. This is due to several factors. Two illegal wars, and the actual costs being kept on "separate books", the Bush Administration's fault. The constant stream of unchecked wasteful spending on unnecessary and ineffective agencies such as FEMA(who are worthless during disaster relief) and the Department of Homeland Security who have not proven themselves worthy of anything other than harassment of American citizens." (www.liberty-candidates.org)
  • Steve R. Susman. AMERICAN SMALL BUSSINESS ACT-by Steve Susman. 7 March 2012. "Provision 4. The Internal Revenue Service will cooperate in regards to tax incentives. The more people employed by the entrepreneur on an extended basis (longevity of permanent employment) means less taxation for the enterprise. As in Provision 1, there will be no more or less tax incentive based on race or gender. Skill level at the particular trade will be the deciding factor, and that weighs on the business, not Federal Government meddling. The incentive will be based on a scale determined as to the overall practicality of the business in question. We have learned that neither the drilling industry nor the government is trustworthy in matters such as the Deepwater Horizon blowout. I suggest that an independent company, uninfluenced by the drilling industry, its lobbyists, or the government should be put in charge of monitoring these projects. Such companies could report back to MMS, with credibility and no bias. This would also create private industry jobs as well.5." to the question: "Energy; Should the government pay to develop technology to combat deep-water drilling disasters or should the U.S. continue to rely on industry-provided technology? Furthermore, that country should pay at least half of the expenses related to the occupation" to the question: "How should we fight a 'war on terror'?" (libertycandidates.com)
  • Steve R. Susman. Steve Susman: Liberty Candidate for U.S. House, Texas. 16 October 2011. "US Foreign Policy is unacceptable. We are engaged in two or more illegal wars at this time fighting a 'concept'. We are not the World Police Force. I do not read ANYTHING in the Constitution that justifies this inhumanity and economic theft on a daily basis." (libertycandidates.com)

Yes c) Should abortion be legal when the pregnancy resulted from incest or rape?
Yes d) Should abortion be legal when the life of the woman is endangered?
Yes e) Should federal subsidies be prohibited from being used for abortion procedures?
Regardless of my personal views and opinions on this subject, I will lobby for this issue to be returned to the state level. It is not the business of the Federal Government to mandate these types of laws, that power rests with the people.

Yes 3) Do you support the elimination of the federal estate tax?
Yes 4) Do you support requiring the federal budget to be balanced each year?
No 5) Do you support using government funds in an effort to stimulate and improve the economy?
The United Nations, The Council on Foreign Relations, The Trilateral Corporation, and the Bilderberg Group are direct threats to the sovereignty and economy of the United States of America. The Bilderberg Group in particular should be forever prohibited from conducting any meetings on US soil. All US Government officials found in attendance in violation of the Logan Act shall be punished to the full extent the law allows.
TARP was a huge mistake. Fraud and favorites should not be rewarded by the government. The Federal Reserve system aka "Central Bank" should be audited and abolished. Congress was given power to print and coin money in the Constitution, I suggest we return to that system.
No a) Do you support privatizing elements of Social Security?
Yes b) Do you support reducing government regulations on the private sector?
No c) Do you support increasing the federal minimum wage?
No d) Do you support the ability of workers to unionize?
Yes e) Do you support federal funding for job-training programs that retrain displaced workers?
Unions started out as a noble cause to prevent abuses of workers. It seems now that they serve as lobbying organizations, (example SEIU) which I disapprove of.
Yes a) Do you support increasing the amount individuals are permitted to contribute to federal campaigns?
No b) Should Congress regulate indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
No c) Do you support removing all contribution limits on federal campaigns?
No d) Should candidates for federal office be encouraged to meet voluntary spending limits?
No e) Do you support giving the President the power of the line item veto for items concerning appropriations?
No f) Do you support limiting the President's ability to define how legislation is applied through the use of signing statements?
Federal candidates should campaign using the least amount of money possible. I am certain that our founding fathers did not waste money on a circus type spectacle that today's political campaigns have become.
Yes a) Do you support capital punishment for certain crimes?
Yes b) Do you support programs that provide prison inmates with vocational and job-related training and job-placement assistance when released?
Yes c) Do you support programs that provide prison inmates with substance abuse treatment?
d) Do you support reduced prison sentences for non-violent offenders?
No e) Do you support mandatory prison sentences for selling illegal drugs?
Sentences of non violent offenders should be left to the discretion of the judge and jury.
Yes a) Do you support federal education standards and testing requirements for K-12 students?
No b) Do you support federal funding for universal pre-K programs?
No c) Do you support federal funding for charter schools?
No d) Do you support federal funding for K-12 school vouchers?
Yes e) Do you support the federal government providing college students with financial aid?
Instead of Charter Schools, I suggest we implement(or re-implement) the "Scared Straight" Program. It is time for some parents to get themselves further involved in the schools their children attend. School is not a baby sitting service, all public schools and teachers within need to be given what is needed for a successful curriculum.
No a) Do you support enacting environmental regulations aimed at reducing the effects of climate change?
No b) Do you support international emissions targets aimed at reducing the effects of climate change?
No c) Do you support allowing energy producers to trade carbon credits under a "cap and trade" system?

Yes e) Do you support domestic oil exploration in federally-protected areas?
Yes f) Do you support federal funding for the development of alternative energy?
g) Do you support the development of nuclear reactors?
Climate change aka "Global Warming Science" is purely science fiction. Agreements such as the failed Copenhagen Treaty are a threat to sovereignty, and an arm of Global Governance, which I detest. Carbon Trading schemes are meant to defraud the taxpayer and cripple the economy further. South America developed another vehicle fuel source in the late 1970's, we should follow in those footsteps. If there were verifiable safety plans with regards to nuclear power, I may be in favor of that source. As of now, I cannot make this determination.
No a) Do you support restrictions on the purchase and possession of guns?
Yes b) Do you believe that the Second Amendment guarantees the right of individual citizens to own guns?
Yes c) Do you support allowing individuals to carry concealed guns?
No d) Do you support a ban on assault rifles?
The Second Amendment was created to protect the citizens of this country from criminals and tyrants. Look how well gun control worked for the Jews in the Hitler era, need I say more?
No a) Do you support a publicly-administered health insurance option?
No b) Do you support expanding access to health care through commercial health insurance reform?
No c) Should the federal government expand eligibility for tax-free medical savings accounts?
Yes d) Do you support monetary limits on damages that can be collected in malpractice lawsuits?
Yes e) Do you support relaxing regulations on the importation of prescription drugs?
The role the government should have taken in the healthcare system should have been to reduce drug costs, procedure costs and audited the excessive costs hospitals charge. For example, I have seen patients charged for backboards and sheets that the hospitals and ambulance companies reused. I have also seen prices for simple pain relievers such as Tylenol charged at $10.00 for two tablets, outright theft.
No a) Do you support a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants?
Yes b) Do you support decreasing the number of legal immigrants allowed into the country?
Yes c) Do you support establishing English as the official national language?
Yes d) Do you support the enforcement of federal immigration laws by state and local police?
Another Texas candidate and myself have composed our own bill to deal with the Immigration Issue. Should we be elected, we will expand and pass this legislation. Please refer to my website.

No g) Do you support increasing sanctions on Iran if it continues to defy United Nations mandates?
Yes h) Do you support the withdrawal of United States troops from Iraq?
No i) Do you support the United States' involvement in free trade agreements?
Free trade agreements such as NAFTA, CAFTA and GATT are dangerous to our sovereignty and economy. We need to stop policing the world, and end nationbuilding. Both wars in Afghanistan and Iraq are illegal since they were not declared by Congress. The only people that benefit from these wars are:(1) The financial institutions financing both sides and (2) Halliburton/KBR who are vastly overcharging us for the substandard services given to our military. This is a disgrace, and is bankrupting our nation.
Yes a) Should marriage only be between one man and one woman?
No b) Do you support allowing openly-gay men and women to serve in the United States military?
No c) Do you support federal funding for embryonic stem cell research?
Yes d) Should the federal government end affirmative action programs?
We should stick to the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy. Anyone deemed mentally and physically fit to join the armed services should be allowed to join, provided that they agree with the above policy.
Overturn UNCONSTITUTIONAL legislation. ( Should not cost anything but time). Implement an American Small Business Plan and restart American Industry, this will be financed by the US Banking Industry that we bailed out. Withdrawl of Troops from Iraq and Afghanistan( this will also reduce deficit spending)
